不是离开而是等候   Not to depart but to wait

“但那等候上帝的人会得到新的力量。他们如鹰展翅翱翔,他们奔跑而不疲累,他们行走而不掉队。”以赛亚书40:31,消息译本 (The Message)

Lessons Learn

These two verses tell us how the church was empowered to do that by the work of the Holy Spirit.

By doing so, the apostles were told to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit. We would gain more power and courage and peace if we learned to wait.

In our personal life, we need to learn to be still. Amid life’s surging activity, there must be time to receive.

“But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.” Isaiah 40:31, The Message.

Prayer of the day

Dear Lord, please keep me still if I am overwhelmed with my work. Let me learn this lesson in this precious moment, stay put and wait upon. Focus on you, trust in you. Believe in you, listen to you.

May your blessing flows when I obey your commands.
