30 你们自己中间也必有人起来，讲些歪曲悖谬的话，引诱门徒跟从他们。31 所以你们应当警醒，记念我三年之久，昼夜不停地带着眼泪劝戒你们各人。32 现在我把你们交托给上帝和他恩惠的道；这道能建立你们，也能在所有成圣的人中赐基业给你们。
30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears. 32 “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
When men want to be masters, the doctrine of salvation is perverted, and the safety of the flock is imperiled. Today, the verses teach us that almost all corruptions of doctrine flow from people’s pride; ambitious men will always turn away from the proper purity and corrupt the Word of God.
Therefore, Paul exhorted them by his own example, though to it he added the fear of danger. It is as if he were saying that they needed to be particularly vigilant and should not grow tired, especially when they saw his unbroken patience over a period of three years.
